FINAL EVALUATION
At the start of my project we were asked to do a series of tasks we were asked to do some tutorials to help us with our project that we were going to do. We were then asked to desighn a Robot sidekick that we were going to make on modeler which is what i did i first decided to make a inspiration board of robots that i could make as examples.
The next thing that we were asked to do was to make a mind map of what my Robot sidekick will have like weapons or smartness basically different types of thing that he could have for a robot sidekick that he would have to make him a sidekick. Also that robots personalty aswell inn the way that he will act towards other people.
The third thing that i did in my project was i made three drawings of the robot that i chose to draw i drew the front, back and side of the robot i was able to make the drawing more efficient and also with the weapons on him aswell as the other stuff also the drawings were not my best but i did okay with my drawing.
The fourth thing in my project was to actually make my robot in modeler in started to make all the parts using diffrent things like bevel and extrude and other tolls to make my robot sidekick i did well with my robot in the way that i made it look really good also there were a bit of complications with my robot but i fixed them well enough to be there. My robot was finally made and i am really chuffed with what i have done.
These three print screens are of my final robot which i made in modeler and then in layout they show of the front and back of my robot and also the close up of him which i did in layout this is where i moved the camera view to make a close up of my robot sidekick with all the coulours.
Thanks to the help of our tutor who went through a range of new tools and their uses with me, (including but not limited to: The magic bevel for the head-tail thing, the mirror tool, so as not to recreate things needlessly and the knife tool.) With this, I was able to complete my model.
After assigning surfaces to the model, I was able to take my model into the "Lightwave Scene editor" within this programme, using the surfaces I had assigned, I was able to recolour and add texture to my model. This helped to bring the overall thing to life and I was personally very happy with the results.
